The suburb is 16 km south of Wollongong and 2.5 km north of Shellharbour. The postcode is 2528. It is surrounded by Mount Warrigal, Warilla, Oak Flats, Shellharbour City Centre and Barrack Heights.


Getting Around

The Lake Entrance Road meets Shellharbour Road at Warilla connecting the suburb to northern suburbs including Windang, Port Kembla and Wollongong.  The Shellharbour Road also connects the suburb to the southern suburbs including Shellharbour NSW. Bus Route 53, 72 and 76 runs through the suburb all day connecting it to other suburbs.

Three major bus routes-160, 163 and 164 connect Kurri Kurri to Cessnock, Newcastle, Maitland and Morisset.
